Hai Nam Vu

Hai-Nam Vu is a Ph.D. student in the iPower3ES Lab at UC San Diego under the supervision of Prof. Hanh-Phuc Le, with an expected graduation in 2027. He holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Soongsil University, Seoul, where his thesis focused on a 6.6-kW wireless power transfer system, and a B.S. in Power & Control Engineering from Hanoi University of Science andTechnology, where he developed a hybrid resonant converter for EV charging. His research interests include integrated CMOS–GaN hybrid converters for verticalpower delivery, AI-assisted design of wide-bandgap power devices, multi-phaseVRMs, IVRs, LLC converters, and wireless power transfer systems.
