The Power Management Integration Center (PMIC) is an Industry/University Cooperative Research Center supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), focused on high-performance power electronics. This talk will outline research thrusts at Dartmouth and the University of California San Diego that are supported and guided by industry member companies.  These include new topologies, passive components, control, and assembly concepts for high-density and vertical power delivery as well as integrated-circuit-based power converters and building blocks for a range of consumer, industrial, and automotive applications.
